In this article, we will cover the "Send To Friend" setting.

By default, this setting is ON but can be turned off globally under SET UP > EVENTS > DELIVERY SETTINGS. 

How does it work?

The order confirmation will display buttons to allow the purchaser to send tickets within the order to other members of their group. Once sent - the recipient can "claim" the ticket, put their name on the ticket, and have a copy of the ticket for entry.

NOTE: Users can send the ticket via email. To send tickets via email or mobile phone number, Twilio must be enabled on the account. Text Messaging - Powered by Twilio

How to disable the send a friend buttons

To enable/disable the buttons, go to Setup > Events > Delivery Settings. At the top of the page, check or uncheck the "enable send to a friend" checkbox and press SAVE.
